This video camera is exactly what you was looking for. If you are not someone who is good with gadgets and technology. You wanted a camcorder that would be easy to use, and easy to play back my videos. You didn't even need to read the directions to figure this one out. You put the mini-DVD in, press record, and you're good to go. Then when you want to play it, you just eject the mini-DVD and play it right in your DVD player. My #1 consideration in purchasing a camera was that you could easily record your family and then just as easily share the videos with others. You wouldn't know anything about editing software or special features, but for us, this camera is perfect. The picture quality is also very good, and the camera is small and easy to carry around.
